Not too long ago, we were lodging in the mountains and noticed two young girls in the parking area  behind the lodge looking at this sign.

We overheard one say “Angel Parking ? Why would an Angel need a parking space?”  The other girl replied “that’s angle parking, not Angel parking.”

True mountain story.

Angel Parking?

Did you ever watch the TV program TOOL TIME? Tool man Tim and most of us rough tough guys like More Power.

We have found a super duper blender with More Power. It has a 60 oz capacity, weighs 10 lbs, 0-chill in 15 seconds.  Has blended a pitcher of ice in 11 seconds. It has a chain saw type gasoline engine- 24cc Poulan, 2-stroke, 2 1/2 horsepower variable RPM throttle and speed control. See below.

Look for the TailGator® Porable Gas Powered Blender.

Eagles Nest?

(of baby bird)

We spotted what we thought was an Eagles nest, a very large nest. (Click on photo for closeup of baby bird in nest.)

Further research revealed that although there were Eagles in the area, this large nest was an OSPREY NEST.    The adult Osprey has a 2 foot body length and a 5 foot wing span and is related to the Eagle.

Storm Chaser Vehicle- We caught up with this ultimate Storm Chaser Vehicle in Woodward Oklahoma. One of a kind.

Muskogee, OK. Oklahoma Turnpike workers no longer have to “go in the bushes”. Crews are now pulling a 18’ trailer with outhouse. (TRUE STORY)

Current Model of portable Turnpike Outhouse

According to our sources, after fifty years of no restrooms, highway workers have semi-modern restrooms.  Female employees objected to the previous facilities. Travelers don’t have to risk getting accidentally “mooned” anymore.

The first fleet of Outhouse equipped trailers did not have the vertical steel outhouse support frame and were prone to fly off the trailer.  All toilet trailers have been retro-fitted with new safety features.

Workers are not allowed to use the device while the trailer in under way. Motorists notice that most often they see the pickup truck and trailer with only the outhouse (no other equipment). This rig is not fuel efficient.

With gasoline over $2.50 per gallon fuel efficient vehicles are needed.  A Tulsa company is suggesting the following vehicle which provides good gas mileage, restroom facilities, and environmentally friendly transportation.

We could not help but notice the Antlers on the back of this Lexus in Tulsa Mountain traffic.  We prefer the antlers on the front like this MOOSE. I wonder if the Lexus antlers fall off each year?
